Swets Gateway attracts IOS Press as premier partner

Amsterdam-based IOS Press and Swets Gateway, the special publisher services division of Swets, have recently reached an agreement to market and disseminate its journals in the Asia Pacific region. Swets Gateway will, on behalf of IOS Press, serve as its exclusive sales and marketing representative in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Pakistan, Brunei and New Zealand.

Popke Huizinga, Deputy Director of IOS Press, said, “This agreement builds on our long-standing and successful relationship with Swets. It will provide us with an unparalleled sales and marketing partnership that will allow IOS Press to vigorously pursue sales opportunities. It will further strengthen our position in territories that were previously outside of our ability to serve well. IOS Press is a world-renowned STM publisher of 80 international journals, ranging from computer science and mathematics to medicine and the natural sciences and 120-140 book titles a year. All IOS Press journals are available online.
